“Since many years I’ve been using the camera as a means to talk, to communicate an event or an act, filmed it technically, even if sometimes you may think to be in front of a defect of the instrument used or in front of a lack of the photographer. I mean that even if the photo is intentionally blurry or blurred, the important thing for me was that it satisfied me, that was communicative and that its vision would have lead to a feeling and emotion, without sensationalism, without masturbating ideas in the attempt to make it the strangest as possible or win who knows which kind of prize.  I take photos with professional passion, believing that time has been given to us is unique, the only real value of life and a photo that manages to capture it as it is possible simply if you are inside the story. At the Palio of Siena you enter on tiptoe as you entered the Church, to leave in the evening, dirty, sweaty and tired, dented but inebriated  with joy and full of experiences”.  Paolo Tosti

Paolo Tosti
